I am installing the 426 in my Challenger along with the 3.0 Techco and raising the boost to between 8-10 lbs. guessing?  I am installing a 7.25" lower pulley along with the 3.12? upper. Do I need to install a 3 bar map sensor instead of the 2 bar that was o/e with the techco. It is a p/n 05033224ab. The o/e in the original intake is a 56041018ad. I believe the 2 bar will read to 14.7, if I am right that number is divided by about 1/2. Does anyone know how much boost I will actually have? If I need the 3 bar, where can I get one at a reasonable price?

Thanks everyone.

2 BAR Should be fine for 14.7 lbs of boost and a little higher.

I don't think they make the 2 bar anymore. They are all 3 bar.

As for tuning there is only really one qualified tuner and he comes from Jersey....

I have not been able to tell the difference other than that I was told that tha 3 bar had three lines of part numbers and  the two only two lines. Sounded funny to me. Does anyone have a part number of a 3 bar? Also I was told that the 14.7 was to be divided in half for the accurate reading. I do not know much about this, just want it to be correct when it is tuned.

1 bar is approximately atmospheric pressure at sea level which is roughly equivalent to 14.7 psi (absolute). 2 bar is equal to 2 times atmospheric pressure at sea level or approximately 29psi (absolute). Since most boost gauges read 1 bar as 0 psi (instead of 14.7 psi absolute pressure) there is generally confusion over what 1bar vs 2bar actually means. As stated above, a 2bar MAP will read up to approximately 14.7psi or 29psi absolute. I believe this where you are coming up with the "divide by 2" stuff.

Dont divide by 2. Take whatever bar map you have times 14.7 minus 14.7.

2 bar = (2 x 14.7)-14.7
3 bar = (3 x 14.7)-14.7
4 bar = (4 x 14.7)-14.7

Also, its rarely 14.7. In my area its closer to 14.5 but you still have plenty of room with your 2 bar map sensor.

Actually, the Techco has been in the Challenger since '09. It's the 426 that's new. I am a Techco Guy and have 2 of them.
