I purchased a t1000 from Andy at PWR noticed that for some reason there was not a USB cable included in the box like the box state. Guessing it might have fell out when Andy put it in since he had to cut off the top of the packaging to make it fit. No biggie, I purchased another from best buy hen I got this stupid window notebook. The note book is running windows 8.1 and I can't get the trinity to turn on when I hook it up to the PC. Screen flickers and the light on dial continually turn on from red to green. PC won't recognize it. I installed the latest drivers as well. Hopefully tech support can help
And yes latest version of DS downloader is installed . And all windows updates are downloaded and installed.
I did connect it to the car to make sure the trinity is functioning and it does boot up when I connect it to the PCM.

When I connect shit to my mac I never have a issue. Get a PC shit does not work...
I got the same results on a mac.... Dumped that POS too. I'm back to chewing my crayons.....

I run my software that is WIN only (MSD, FAST, Kestral, ect.) using parallels on my Mac notebook without any issues with WIN 7 Professional. Don't use a Trinity though.

This shit is not Mac compatible that's why I bought a PC .
You can put XP on your Mac, just partition the hard drive. You click on which operating system you want. Shit works good.

Kk, went to staples and replaced cable cause this cable what a bit to snug I felt and thought it was defective. Boom trinity is working on PC now....

Fuck, loaded the tune that Johan sent at now my car won't start. Waiting on a response from Johan. Jason told my that more than likely the file was corrupted some how. Would make sense, I go by corrupted...

Return it back to stock and reload the tune. I had to do that when supercharger tune wasn't working, turned it back to stock re down loaded the tune and then it worked

Great news! I got the car running. When I sent the tune via clicking the "button send tune to tool" it was giving a error about the original back up. So, I chose the tab " advanced tuning" when I selected the tune this time it gave me a choice to select the original file, so I did. Copied to the trinity and loaded in on my car. Car was attempting to turn over and finally did but not without blowing a cloud of smoke and a strong fuel smell. It idled very rough and first then smoothed out. Car would not go over 40 mph but I know what that was, I needed to set the axle ratio to 3.55. Boom, car is running well. A/F Ration at idle is 14.6 and cruising is 14.2 but does dip to 14.0 some. Other than that car is running well.
