Just installed another tweaked tune and.......
She purrs and growls like never before. A little adjustment to the fuel off throttle and I'm good to go.
Just figured I'd post up how I resolved the issue in case someone else finds a similar issue.

Well I had the new valve springs installed and while it was there had oil changed. It looks like my timing assembly has been eating itself after finding some shavings in pan. The assembly's plastic guide is gone which apparently allowed the the chain to start doing some ugly things. I'm hoping this will smooth out my slightly rough idle?

Did you go ahead and have them to replace the timing chain and tensioner while it was there?
