i think the most frustrating thing about the whole situation is the fact that you have a co with the capability's.. but yet there is no directive and leadership to make sure things are done effectively and efficiently.  IT don't matter how many machines car lifts and square ft of building you have if you have to many chiefs and not enough indians.

just my thoughts.. but what do i know

the sad thing bill and you would agree.  WE meaning the mopar/dodge community as a whole are a nats ass compaired to gm and ford.

there probably is 20 to 1 for shops to work on cars in the gm/ford era.. so when a co like arrington has issue's like this. it just makes it even tougher for people.. we already have so few place to deal with in regards to parts and technical work, that something like this just hinders the growth of our brand even more. make people think twice in general about dodge and support when it comes to the aftermarket world. i am thankful for the vendors and distributors we do have, don't get me wrong. But when a major player has major issues is sends out huge red flags to anyone looking to get into the aftermarket world for mopar products.

sucks no two ways about it.

I don't recall anyone at Arrington saying anything about issues...major or minor. Just seems to be more internet speculation.

Perhaps streamlining, using less people to do what needs done, will clean up any so called "issues".

If I missed it, please tell me where to find it.

Thanks.

So let me get this straight... A small mopar shop 20 minutes away is booming with business.

Yet the marketing masters at Arrington are floundering and falling stepping on their dick.

Ok...fact...the economy is much better than it was a few years ago.

If an aftermarket manufacturer / retailer is not doing pretty damn well now, there is something REALLY wrong.

Even a start-up like Rollbar is buying equipment and bringing in NICE work.

if you call the lead tuner for them and what many consider the FACE OF THE CO. dead weight then yes i would say that is what they did.

but most would agree that isn't the case. and by all rights probably one of the bigger mistakes that they will look back on in either months or yrs and say. WOW WHY THE HELL DID WE DO THAT.

Hard to make money when it takes eight months to make a pulley. Probably takes 2-3 months to install a CAI.

you are not that far from the truth.......

stay around longer...... you will begin to see the big picture.  more than "dead weight" going on inside that building.  but in the mean time, continue to insinuate to those of us that actually know a few things, that we are all idiots and fan boys.

I met the guy that runs Arrington at a hemi race last year. Seemed like an exceptionally smart fellow, though I believe he was wearing a very bad toupee

this is all too familiar to me, my company an xray imaging co. bought and was sold a half a donzen times in the last 20 years, each time people jumped ship and some were fired but each time overall it stood stronger as the product lines were improved and prices went up, all orchrestrated by bean counters.  It's the same here or seemingly so, only here the demand for the products will have a major influence on who and how many remain in the industry.  So locked computers and demand by owners for service and their happiness will be the lifeline in this environment. JMHO  we tend to hate change but business models love it  called progress

I foresee a scaled down Arrington, not a non-existent Arrington.

I heard  the Black and Decker leaf blower FI project has been fast tracked for 2015.

Exciting times ahead for Arrington.
