I recently discovered the V6/Jeep/Mopar Performance torque convertor is 2600 rpm stall. And for the cheap price why the hell not.....I don't have any more plans for my 5.7 and just got a set of drag radials so I want to make the most of them. And....trying to stay cheap.

So, with that being said, should I get a custom TCM (probably through Hemituner) for this even with such a small stall?

I know what a stall does....but all this lock up stuff and whatever other magic happens....I become lost.

The car is a 2008 300c SRT Design. I have confirmed these do have the 6.1 TCM in them if that makes a difference. I also swapped in a 3.06 diff.

You'll definitely want a custom TCM.
There's multiple options out there: Paramount, AJ, Eurospeed?, and OST.

I had an MTCM that I paid to have massaged by AJ when he was still at Arrington, and later paid the $425 to have it tuned further since it still had issues.
After a couple of tries it's now sitting on the shelf behind my desk.

Now that Mike@OST is doing custom TCM's I will probably contact him this Spring to sort mine out.
Call around and discuss what you're end goals and expectations are, and get quotes/see how many tuning revisions come standard.

High Horse Performance has them on their web-site plus lots more.
HHP is a vendor on here and works in conjunction with AJ Hemituner

I would stay away from Eurocharged. Know of a few unhappy folks who have used them lately.

I am one to testify that eurocharged sucks. They could not even get the converter to lock up in 5th gear. Got one from mike, works great. Aj is a great bet as well.
