Leaving the parking lot. Thanks for a great weekend all. If nothing else, I learnt it is easy to spend a crap load of money fast - next step, Maggie or Pro charger! :-)

Had an awesome time, got the wife hooked on drag racing and met some great folks!!!

Now I gotta get that vortech sitting in my garage installed and figure out what kind of jewels to add our 09 R/T that will complement the blower!!! Oh and get some slicks!!

Why the hell don't we have a countdown for next yr going yet!!!!!

Nothing like thinking your shit is fast and then running Bills Jeep in unlimited. I seriously almost hit the wall watching that fast thing fly past me.

Being so busy recently, didn't even have time this year to keep up with the threads before the event. Subsequently we showed up without any racing gas. Wouldn't you know it, Mike (GEO) GIVES us a can of 109 race gas! He refused to accept any money. As a result of his generosity, our N/A 2010 SRT put down a solid 12.4 run.

That's the kind of staff who put on this show.

I'd love to say I'll be back next year, but this is my third and last Challengerfest for a decade as I leave in November to become a missionary doctor serving in the jungles of Papua New Guinea for the next ten years. We're giving up EVERYTHING we own including the SRT 8 and the Ram SRT 10 if anyone's interested. My wife (also a doctor) and I are doing this through Wycliffe Bible Translators and receive NO salary for our work. In fact, we go from living well to relying solely on the heart-felt generosity of others to sustain us. If ANYONE feels lead to partner with us in this endeavor, please PM me.

I'm heading down to breakfast now!

It's been an honor to know you all, and to meet you at these events!! God bless you all...

I can't say enough good about GSO & Speedy setting up this event, it was AWESOME! Can't wait to do it agin.

And a MAJOR Thank You to ALL of the sponsors, All of you are what makes this event what it is.

Last but by far the least, Thank You to Lisa and all the ladies that helped with all the registration.

Now there was one individual that stood out to me this weekend more so than anyone! I would have to give the Event;s most generous individual award to no other than Johnny(OilStrike) for the Colt .45 commemerative edition pistol he donated to be raffled off to raise money for the Racing Vets charity.I have no other words to describe the pistol or Johnny other than Awesome! I was just floored that anyone could donate something as nice as this pistol.

Thanks Again Johnny, You are a true rock star in my book!

Rolled home about 3:00pm.   Hope everyone gets home safe.  Being that I was a Challengerfest newb, I was not sure what to expect but it turned out to be a fun event, even if I did almost get tazed when standing with Greg Friday night :o.    It was great to put faces to screen names and real names to the screen names too.

Mike, Jay, Lisa and so many others-  nice job putting this all together!

I had heard all the tales about ChallengerFest, I had read about how much fun it was, I even tried to make it last year. This year, my first year at ChallengerFest made me a believer. The tales are all true, the fun is real, the people are fantastic, the event is one of the best coordinated I have ever witnessed, the leaders of this insane gathering of Mopar loving people should all be given 2 week vacations to the location of their choice. Putting faces and names to the screen names and finding out how close we all were even though we came from the 4 corners of the USA and Canada was a bonus. The racing was intense and showed just how crazy fast we can make these machines go. Each night was filled with episodes that will be talked about until the next CF. The car show turn out.... the Challengers that were being shown took your breath away! If there was a mod you were thinking about, you could have talked to someone at the show and would be guaranteed to see it and get advice as to installing it. I saw several interesting things that I will be incorporating into my car for next year. Special thanks for all those that voted for my car for Peoples Choice. To me, that was the highest honor. My family and I will be back for CF5, and I will be racing this time. AND I WILL NEVER SPEAK OF THE WEATHER AGAIN!!!!!!
