Man I hope I shook your hand at this event.  I've met so many folks I've lost track.  I'm horrible with names and honestly only know people's scree names and even call Mike GSO in person lol

If I didn't get to shake your hand PLEASE make sure we do so tomorrow morning at breakfast if you're still here.

lol THAT was funny.  Turns out Holiday Inn really appreciated our business, gave the troublesome security guard the weekend off, and made arrangement for us to be comfortable and happy.  I have no complaints.  Even the LEO that came by have been awesome to hang out with stating that and I quote "we have been no trouble at all".

We nearly opened a who six pack of whoop ass on a drunk that tried to crash our MMF Awards, but that's a story for another day.  Needless to say the LEO hauled him to jail.  No big deal, it happens and WE handled it.  What an awesome group.  You guys are the ones I want having my back when the poo poo hits the fan fo sho.

I gotta say straight out, I'm very proud of Lakey.  He kicked major ass and kept on coming.  He's a 2 year defending Champ for Unlimited 1st place.  Who is gonna give him some competition next year?  The dood gets major respect from me.  He also got best engineered vehicle from All Angles Design, which coming from Mikah is a HUGE compliment given Mikah's background.

Well, this is the first time I've had a chance to even think about looking at the forum in 3 days.  As usual it was a very hectic event but somehow we pulled it off.  We had A LOT of help from several folks on this forum and I'll do a more detailed write up in a couple of days when I've had some rest and am more clear headed.  For now I'll end with two things.

1.  I'm now a member of the 10 second club....HELL YEAH.

2.  I'm closer to some of you guys on this forum than I am with my own family.  It's a shame we don't live closer together and get opportunities to hang out together more often.  I'll miss you guys until next April when we'll do this crazy thing all over again.

The track has gotten to respect our event and has already put us on the calendar for the weekend after Easter 2014.

We're blessed to be able to do this thing each year and I thank each and every one of those that attended for making the effort.  Thanks again.

More to come.......

speedy in the 10s :D thats awesome!

Just wanted to thank everyone who made my trip worthwhile. It had it's moments but was a lot of fun for me. Hoping next year will bring some more excitement to the table. I met and talked with a lot of good people, heard some great stories and saw what CF4 is all about. You all have really big open hearts and it wont go unnoticed. Ty all again and hope I can come again sometime.

Can't thank each and every one of you enough. My old man and I had an absolute blast this weekend. Glad to finally put some names to faces and sorry to disappoint a certain tiger that I wasn't as old or communist as expected. Love you Chuck. Huge kudos to the entire team that put this three ring circus together, I'd gladly pay double for the fun and festivities (hint hint add another day!).

Notsure I hope you kicked that bug. But we'll catch up some other time. May need to put my liver thru a Rocky montage to keep up with your crazy ass tho.

My regrets to mr jassol for leaving everyone's favorite peanut farmer in the trunk. Given your...acquired taste...I figured I'd stick around the old man to explain some of your finer points.

Chris, pleasure to meet you and Uriko (butchered spelling and all). You've got one badass green car...for an auto. Sorry I couldn't make it down to say goodbye, was catching up on some much needed z's before the ride home.

Alan...I found the car to match your shorts on the drive home

And Chuck this is what I walked into in my kitchen...told you there was a lot of dick in my oven while I was away. God knows what larger fare was in there.

Earl...you give us all that warm fuzzy feeling...well...maybe just warm

Oh shit. And Capt Ron, you may have one eye but you got a whole lot of heart. That auction move was killer.

OH so everyone knows Chris was such a great help, he put my drag radials on and off, also had several others offer to help, great bunch of guys and gals for sure.

My first Challengerfest went well above expectations. All you guys are top notch in my book...great to put names/screennames with faces...although it became overwhelming with all the people I met. All the vendors and CF4 staff went out of there way to help...I just can't say enough about CF4! Can't wait to see if CF5 can top it!

Was another great event and as many have said my favorite car event of the season. Always feel bad that I don't get to meet more people but the event gets bigger and better every year and makes it that much harder (think we might need another day added to the current schedule, there is just too much stuff to pack into 2 days). But was great hanging out with the many good friends Linda and I have met over the past 2 years.

Thanks to all those folks that put this together.........A1 job! Big thanks to the sponsors, you guys are extremely generous and supportive. Also a big thank you to Mike at OST. You worked your ass off supporting everyone with updated tunes and analysis of logs (hope you and your son got a chance to enjoy a bit of the event).

Was an absolute blast can't wait for CF5!

And the icing on the cake....................................I did not break this year. lol

We made it home about 2pm..Got my nap on and now trying to load my Videos. Speaking of...Chris, thanks buddy the camera worked out great. I owe you one. Now I need to get on GoPro and have them send me abother camera.

Speedy, We talked real briefly thursday night. I realize you had a lot going on with running everything, plus trying to glad hand everyone. I will make a point next year to be more formal in the intros with you.

The event was great everyone, Mike, you are the man buddy! Standing out there all freaking day in the sun making sure we all were in the right place. Cant say enough about you. You are a good guy, I dont care what anyone says.

Lisa and Chuck...what can I say, just good people and those of you who dont know...that is a HIGH compliment. Maybe we will get some BBQ shrimp this year if I make it to NOLA soon.

SupaDave, your design for the Peoples Choice was awesome, Scott couldnt quit smiling. I told him to take it to the guy who did his artwork to have him put some Rat Fink's on that car.

Colonel, I had the the honor of lining up against the DevilDawg for a pass, but to my amazement some other fellow was driving it. Showing your generosity I suspect, letting the less forunate have a chance to enjoy it. He was a pretty good guy too. Jack, After I retire I will give you a run for your money, but I like my little stock RT that runs low 13's for now.

Sponors, beleive me when I say this..I will shop exclusively for anyhting I need for the car with the sponors of this event. Andy, you are a small business but step up big time every year buddy, that says a lot. All of the sponors of our little event are much appricated by us all.
Everyone else, we had a great time and cant wait for CF5...

Wow! Just got home and began to unload and decided the morning will be better. Nothing like going in after 2:30 and rolling 600+ miles at 8:30. I am bushed!

As everyone has mentioned above, this is just the best thing on my calendar every year! As much as I love my goofy, always screwed up car (no boost this year!), the absolute best thing about it is the community we have here. I just can't imagine a better, more selfless buch of folks! It's truly an honor to be a part of this crew!

Brian, you might be careful, you might be finding little dicks around the house for awhile! lol

Jerry, any time brother! Hope to see you next time you're down!

Huge thanks to Speedy and GSO for getting it done and making it better every year. Awesome job.

Thanks to everyone for helping out, I can't name everyone, but it takes a lot of help to run this thing and many people helped.

Thank you to all the sponsors, means a lot to support the community.

Also, thank you to everyone who showed up and had fun. This event is so much fun, I would not miss it for anything. Hardly have any time to talk with everyone, but each year it seems I get a few more names remembered and meet new people.

Guys and gals, it looks like it was a blast.  As many of you all saw a couple days ago of why I had to cancel this year, I would like to thank all for the prayers.  I wish we could have like a smaller Challengerfest in the fall, like Challengerfest 4.5 or something lol.  Anyway, I hope to meet you all next year.

We do plan to do our own liittle thing in a few weeks to get away for the weekend, and take a trip on the Tail of the Dragon.
