made a couple runs last night at the dragstrip. First run third gear attempt failed, not missed, it wouldn't take it, I backed off pressure and it went on in, quick time.. So I hot lapped and while in line noticed some new chatter going on and a one time slip and grab while moving forward, something new going here. It staightened up some so decided to go ahead with burnouts and run. Again third locked out, released slitght pressure and in with a short slight high grind (that's when the 5.0 Mustang went on by). I know some 6speeders have had some issues, what say you? and what repairs upgrades available? definetly thinking another clutch. I drove on home after that run no problem and today no problem under normal driving everything is fine but the clutch is having issues.

Most like the Spec, but I have heard really good things about McCleod as well. Personally I would still go with Spec as I appreciate their support of our little event and that does matter to me. Next time we get together, you can take mine for a spin and see.

I plan to get a look at the clutch up close in the near future but isn't there some syncro upgrades also?. While apart worthwhile having some love thrown into the transmission if there is some latest and greatest..

Sam and I had Hanlon Motorsports in PA go though and beef up out trannies. Bob is one of the big guns when it comes to Tremec and a nice guy to deal with. I think your '10 has better synchros than the 09's had anyway.

I talked to the ACT rep at the NMCA event in Atlanta 2 weeks ago. He said they will be releasing their line of clutch assemblies for the late model Hemi's in the next few months. Im sure they'll be priced about the same as the Spec.

It's your trans, DT. You'll find the clutch is fine IMO. Your synchro is going. Check the fluid for grins but I'm guessing the Tremec is going to seed like mine did early on.

that's brutal Sam, total shitzky huh. IDK that clanking and chatter is new although brief defo the clutch. Seems ok driving the girl around like it was intended ya know? you right will crawl under this weekend chk fluid. Assuming it is the trans, is there a jobber that works these units and core swaps? that'd be the ziggy.

Mine only had the problem under load (i.e. getting on it). It was intermittent when I was stock and then after a while it got pretty frequent at the strip. Eventually 4th started giving me a problem.

I used Hanlon, as Chuck mentioned. He went before me. I like mine real well once it's warm. It struggles a bit with the 1 - 2 shift when it's cold. Liberty also does them. I really enjoyed working with Hanlon...good people and reasonable price. They set up the shipper, etc... pm me if you need details.

P.S. don't use but one quart of that really thick stuff they recommend to there of some ATF. I use Mobil 1 for the other 3 qts.

JZ starts making out with a chick, she takes off his shoes and socks, and sees his toe is all shriveled up. She's like, "whats wrong with your toe?"

He says, "oh I have toe-lio" She says, "you mean POLIO?" He's like, no TOE-LIO!

Then she takes off his pants and sees his knee is all messed up. She says, "wtf is wrong with your knee?" He says "oh i had kneesles" She says, "you mean MEASLES?!" He says, "no!! kneesles!"

finally she takes off his boxers, takes one look and says "let me guess, smallcox?"
