This is good news, folks. She'd been dealing with that B.S. dealer for some time and I'm tickled pink. We advised her to have the dealer do the leakdown and if they refused, for her to pay for it...ain't much money. Clearly the boneheads figured out Cyl 7 grenaded once they saw the % bleed off from the test. Great news!!!

Sweetest lady you'll ever meet and a diehard Challenger gal.

She texted me today and said the entire engine was being replaced. She sent another pic or two to my phone, the top ring land was fubar-ed. Hopefully some better resolution pics will surface so we all can have a look-see. I again questioned why they never recommended a scheduled plug change, it could have saved them a warranty engine.

Like everyone says, Debbie is a great lady, and that R/T means a lot to her. Dealers WILL take advantage of a lady... Texas and La folks; please keep an eye on things and help make sure they don't screw her over somehow.

Motors out, empty engine bay pics at Life. She lives closest to me bro, anything bad happens to HER, you won't see me posting anymore, lol but it's looking good for a fresh mill for da blonde! You know that when she tells the techs what we've been tellin her, that must amaze them, tee hee?! But she got GREAT people looking after her both here, and the other side, and she really appreciates all yalls support, AND friendship! :D

I'm glad to hear Deb's issues are getting resolved preferentially. When I met her for the first time at LSMF, she greeted me like I was a long-lost friend, even though we'd never met. Very nice lady.

Sam thanks for the advice on asking for a leakdown test.. Once I did it really got it started.... =) Thank you! Sooo much!!
When I bought this car I knew it was special, I had NO ideal of how many great friendships it would lead me to and wonder places it would take me!!! Isn't it just AMAZING?!?!
