A friend of mine has told me about a 1970 Road Runner, PCP, 383 and supposedly matching numbers.

I haven't seen it yet. Current owner is asking for offers. Supposedly it's clean, engine smoked a bit the last time it was started. Have no idea when that was.

Any idea what one of these puppies would be worth??? I know lot's of variables.

Still don't know why my buddy didn't take a pick for me?!?!?!?

I would possibly be interested, but I do not mess with make me an offer guys. If the jack off does not know what he wants for the car I am not going to price it for him. Depending on condition and options it could be 2500.00 to 35000.00

I HATE the make me an offer guys. You are exactly right, they want you to price it for them so they can sell it for more than you offer.

Some of these guys are way high on their prices.  Barett-Jackson and the rest of the tv car shows make these guys think a pile of rusted old Mopar is a gold mine.  My nephew is one of those guys, I just shake my head and tell him, hopefully he finds some young guy that believes all the bull and gives him way more than the car is worth.  Good luck, and I hope the guy is realistic on his price, would be a cool car to have.

I'm sure he has a price in mind. He's just wanting to see if a fish comes along and offers him more than he wants.

It never pays to throw out the first number. You either tick them off or make them REALLY happy. The odds of both buyer/seller being on the same page, without having a starting price, are near nil.

I looked for an old mopar for 10 years before I bought the one I have now.  I looked at cars that were 10k and less as starter cars.  I showed up to look at some cars that  were 2 fenders, rusted through quarters, with no floor left at all and they wanted 10k.  People are insane.  There are good deal out there if you are willing to look.  But it takes a lot of luck.

I ended up paying $2300 for my Polara.  sold the disc brake kit that came with it, sold the engine and trans out of it.  So the car itself....an original 1 owner car with the original paint and interior cost me.....$100.  Now don't get me wrong....I have about 8k into the chassis already.  the starting piece netter neatly to zero though

Mark is right. Lots of confusion and discussion about the colors and the names of the old High Impact colors. Good site right here....
