Well guys, the time has come for me to make the decision to sell my ’01 Dakota R/T regular cab. I’ve been trying to think of different ways to keep the truck and still continue on with life, but I don’t realistically see it happening. I haven’t driven the truck in almost 2 years, and I don’t foresee my using it anytime soon. So instead of letting it sit in the warehouse and not be enjoyed by someone else.
The reason for the sale is because my roommate told me 3 weeks ago that the lease to our apt. ended the first week of April, giving me a very short time frame to find other living arrangements. So now I have to move back in with my old roommate, mom & dad. Ugh. My intent is to sell the Dakota to help fund the purchase of a house in the near future.
A little background on the truck, I’ve had it for about 5-6 years. I bought it from a used car dealer in Portsmouth NH with 53K miles, (It has 77-78K today) was 100% stock at the time. All the modifications were done at my dealership my Chrysler technicians. Most of the parts I’ve bought new or used off this site. I’ve been to Chrysler at Carlisle & the ’11 Dakota R/T Nationals in Toronto with this truck. This truck will be sold in turn key ready condition.
I’ll describe the truck the best I can along with photos. I’m a car sales man by trade at a Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, RAM dealer that my family owns; I’ll be as straight forward as I can be. I’m listing the truck for $11,500. There is room in there to jew me down. Please spare me the typical FS thread drama & BS about my price. I know it’s going for more than book, but you can’t recreate this truck for what I’ve got it listed at. I stopped receipts after $18,000. I understand I won’t get my money back, but I’m also not going to give it away. Many people on this site have met me in person and seen the truck in person also.
