Whenever They Say It Isn't About The Money......

18 September 2013 - 11:29 AM

It is always about the money.

Sure hope we don't lose this track.  If we do, that leaves Houston, a metro area of over 1200 sq miles, and 4 million+ people, with a concrete 1/8th mile and a 1/4 mile track that opens whenever the hell it feels like.

Anybody Use Ate Super Blue Racing Brake Fluid? Read This.

25 August 2013 - 02:56 PM

http://abcnews.go.co...-color-20056395

A company is recalling about 488,000 units of brake fluid because its color is wrong.

Each type of brake fluid has a color requirement so it can be identified. The brake fluid being recalled is blue, rather than in the range of colorless to amber that is required.

According to documents posted on the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration website, Continental Aftermarket GMBH is recalling some ATE Super Blue Racing DOT 4 brake fluid because it could be misidentified and improperly mixed in the braking system. Highway safety officials say that could lead to brake damage or failure.

The company is notifying distributors and will offer to buy back all of the affected units held by distributors, retailers and consumers. Consumers can contact Continental Aftermarket at 1-800-265-1818 or at [email protected].
