Great job as always Rob, great event and the mark of great leadership is the ability to adapt on the fly. Nice work!

#325682 Street Tire Question

Posted by rdrdr90 on 17 September 2013 - 07:53 AM

Well, I'm at 515 or so with a PD blower and an auto trans, and I'm running the Nitto Motiva's. the reason? Wet weather traction, and I needed tires quickly....the Conti's were special order and I couldn't wait.

That being said, as long as I am not overly aggressive at a light or a stop sign, they are just fine. I can smoke them at will, but the wet weather performance and lack of road noise are about a 1000% improvement over the F1's I used to have.

6.4's too!  These are perfect for the 5.7 upgrade due to the location of the rear O2 bungs...no extension required.

I tell them it's stock, then I leave them in a cloud of smoke to never see me again

You left out "as I'm leaving them in the cloud of smoke, I yell YOU'RE FUCKEN SLOW!"

#136019 6.4L Cam In 2010 5.7

Posted by rdrdr90 on 01 May 2012 - 04:36 PM

We just installed the 392 cam into a 5.7 block that had been bored/stroked to 391 cubes. We did it without the phaser but we had valve reliefs. I think it would be worth a shot. We could install/tune it for $1000.

What kind of gains you think?

Sean, you got it. We did the same trading last year. Although I was getting two Yank beers for every one of my Canadian beers! lol

Done! I'll bring an assortment! Guess I'd better check the bootlegging laws in Kentucky, Tennessee, and Arkansas!
