  7. I also used the U-Coat It product on my garage floor. As others have stated, no matter which product is used, preparation is the key to a long-lasting durable floor. Because muriatic acid is a biological hazard, I would have to recover the washing and dispose of them according to environmental standards. I used another biosafe product to etch the flooring but unfortunately cannot recall the product name.
