This was a 2012 challenger with a 6 speed. It made right in line with what the 6 speed cars make on our dyno as a baseline. I think I could get a touch more out of it, but humidity is obscene today. I just thought I'd share since there's been a bit of debate as to the worthiness of a 6.4 cam swap. qyqa9upa.jpg

That's awesome! I got my limiter removed so hopefully I will see some gains after a good tune.

Is this with or without the phase limiter?  Great job.

It's amazing. I knew it could be done. If these kind of options were available for VCT motors a couple of years ago, I might have kept my 2010 R/T instead of trading up. Not that I regret my choice

Cam and springs with a tune. Surprisingly easy tune too. No lockout. Subtle timing changes. Air fuel at 12.4 across the board 92 degrees at 50% humidity.

If this is without the limiter, perhaps we can put the nail in that coffin.

60 dollar cams rule!

Nice job.

Sean I wanted mike to tune my 6.4 cam at CF but it did not happen. But for shits and giggles I down loaded the 91 diablo tune and the car ran much stronger. I would love to see if there was a difference on the dyno or if my car is just smoother with that canned tune.

I think you would have seen some good gains with a little more timing.

Glad to see this proven out. Need to see it on an auto, too, however.

It started loosing torque. Timing isn't always a matter of how much it will take. It's about what it likes.

No loss down low. I like it when companies say "that cam is too big, you will need allot more converter because your going to lose all your torque. This one lost nothing and gained a ton. Thats amazing. Cant wait to see what our VVT 410ci stroker with Thitek heads and custom grind VVT camshaft does for you guys.

If you didnt hear it with your own ears or see it with your own eyes, dont invent it with your small mind and share it with your big mouth!

there is no competition.

Me too. That one will be fun. I was amazed by the pickup on this. I'm going to put one in my 300. I need some heads too.

I already have a 6.4 cam sitting here to put into my 300.  I may pony up for some CNC heads and dig out some SRT manifolds I ported a while back and see what we can get out of one of these with bolt on goodies

So isn't there only a 100 hp difference between the 5.7 and the 392?

I tuned it

The rest is cubic inches and heads. Notice the 60ish ftlbs of torque missing from the 6.4
