2013 Heritage Festival Burkeville.

with 6 car shows going on this past weekend in the area, there weren't very many cars to attend this show this year, last year we had about 40 cars/trucks

this year only 14, but still a blast to go to these small town shows as I got thrown in Jail before I was able to finish my wipe down. I paid my $3 bail and promised the Burkeville C.O.P that I wouldn't do a burn out when I left after the show.. lol

Looks like you were the only modern car ther.

yep, was the same way last year. closest car to me in years was the 1976 Chevy Monte Carlo.

but I still get the look around from the crowd, and the car show organizer like it when I bring my car in, he owns Weaver Motors which is the dodge dealer in the area and I always get his sponsors award plaque.

one reason I like to go to these shows,......................... different cars to see and meeting new folks. talked to one guy who owned the 49 Ford that he just lives a couple of miles from me and the yellow 53 truck is a guy who lives about 16 miles north.

the guy who owned the little bucket car with the 427 , we talked all day, had a good time and the weather was great!
