NOT SURE

Milwaukee Indy Fest 2013 Met Tony Kanaan.

Its 1 am!

So fuck it with the typos and run on sentences here we go..

Yeah, yeah, yeah.. Im a road racing guy and like Indy Racing always have since I was a kid and watched Parnelli Jones race that turbine car at Indy in 1967!Get this, his car dies on the last lap after leading the whole race, and since that moment I was hooked!

So every year same as this past weekend Indy Racing comes to Milwaukee to run on the oldest track in the country.

The dreaded Milwaukee Mile!! Dun ,Dun Dunnnnnnnnnnn..Older than Indy!

Its like watching a motordrome race from the 1920's(Barrel motorcycle racing) theres no room for passing and by the time you blink the cars are back around the track again which makes for some very tight racing conditions, and motion sickness, lol..

Man, meeting Tony was beyondo cool great fucking guy funny as hell, always smiling!

Simona DE Silvestro was also pretty nic, but had a bit of an anger issue I felt, lol..Aunt flow must have been in the trailer with her.

We had the oppertunity to hang with KV racing & the Ceo's of LaSalle and Cisco.we were able to hang in the garage area during race prep just feet from the cars.I was blown away from minute one,and talked one of those big shots into buy a Radical track car for some weekend racing.A Radical is a hand built track car with a 1300 cc Hibusa( fuck the spelling) engine cramed into a 1400 lb car that is a monster on road tracks and actually affordable.

This shit gets addicting!

Tony Kanaan popped out from time to time and we got to get him to take a few pics before lunch.

At 2 pm we were ushered right down on the track onto the pit row area and had a tour of each team meeting every freaking driver and team manager! WTF!

As the cars all staged we were able to also walk the track right before the start your engines command.Rodger Penske was there said hello as well as Liz Power ,and Helio Castroneves.Pinch me I think I was dreaming so bleow theres a few pics from the day and it was much closer than anyting we have experienced at Indy..Great to see Penske place 2nd and 3rd fucking will Power and Helio Castraneves were fighting it out all day on the track great racing from two Penske team members, and a funny as shit cream puff fight in the wins circlerazy bastards!

Got an invite from KV Racing to go to Sonoma for the race looks like fun to me..

Fuckin bucket list shit for sure.

That was the shit right there meeting Tony Kanaan. i walked right up to him and said hey Tony Who the man? Then I answered quickly.. You the man!! He just laughed his ass off..I love my fans he said. Then we talked about his car and how it was trimmed for this race.Cool freaking guy under a shit load of pressure I was flat out honored he took the time to meet us.

Cant wait for Andretti driving school coming up later this summer I have a bad feeling this is going to lead to a track car in the future been watching alot of GT and GTS racing....Then a big fireball!!!!!!! lol

Maybe Road America next summer wish I had the time this year however prep is a bitch take alot of tires!

Here is a link to a shit ton of pics from the pits thought to share as it is not every day you get this close might happen more often wife may snag some tickets for the F1 races and the monaco Grand Prix...I hear thats a whole different league!

Awesome stuff, dude. I guess those guys are used to random people walking around taking pictures of their shit while they're trying to get ready?

And what's with that streetcar thing right on the track?

Looks like this is a yearly thing for us now!

Howie its Probibly a pace car or a car they used to dry the track ,have no idea.

Oh wait that was a trolly for shutteling the big shots off the track in time!

We met almost all the drivers, and crews in the garages or pits, and they know if we have full acess passes we are not random people in the pits..

The owner of Velspar Paints walked right up to me and we walked the pits together what nice older gent he was!

He asked me if I was a driver, lol...Wanted to know if I wanted to be one, lol...Yeah, in another llfe I replied.

Lots of big corperate money walking around forsure!

Funny by race time we had hung with them all for about 4 hours plus, and believe me they know us well by then...

Not everyone had this access, when we looked around I counted like 30 people tops in the pits, and starting grid!

Liz Power came right up to us after meeting us indy with the nicest greeting..

Super big Ty to Steve the CEO of LaSalle for all his hosptiality he offered to us. He was a great guy I look forward to hanging with him soon .He throws out Millions like we throw out 20 dollars bills.

One cool thing we talked about sponsership as he was very reeptive to the idea and we will talk soon in the future about that probibly in Sonoma California.

I would like to get sponsership for my buddy who has 3 kids in cart racing right now!!

Always paying it forward for others!

Like Peggy our guide said were all a big family now ,and your a big part of that!

Cant wait for Somona rumor has it KV racing is going to throw a huge party at that event we may not want to miss that one as the connections are worth the trip..

All and all this has turned into one cool ride year to year now with tons more to come, as a track car is in my future somewhere :)

Might pull the c5 vette out and ready it for road racing tracks in the next year or so but doubt it .I would like a radical for all that dirty work!

Now Ive retired last year this is a dream Ive had for decades.

Funny how things change up ...

what, no pics of Redfoxx0099 going over the wall?

lol.....No but we hassled the firehawk big time!

Yep I wanna be Mike when I grow up :). Looks like a once in a lifetime event.

Your too kind Missy :)
