I just had some back and forth with them on FB.... I think its kinda BS that they wont allow front runner Bias Ply even though they are DOT approved.... they guy says its for safety but that's BS too.... You know there will be a bunch of GT-Rs out there without an announce of interior safety (roll bar etc)

Guy said he will consult the rules committee.

Got a private message on FB from the "Rules Committee"

"I was able to get those tires approved. Having them reword the RWD class rules for tires."

So they will let us use Bias Ply front runners

Rule change was made :D

Rule Modification: We've listened to requests and concerns about racers running Bias Ply "skinnies" on their cars. As the rules are written, this is technically disallowed as they are not a radial tire. However, the radial tire limitation is targeted at the driving wheels on the car to create an equal playing field. After reviewing the impact of Bias Ply skinnies the rules have been adjusted to allow Bias Ply tires on the non driving axle. This will be applied as follows:

RWD: Bias Ply skinnies allowed on the front wheels only
FWD: Bias Ply skinnies allowed on the rear wheels only
AWD: No change, Bias Plys not allowed, Radial/Drag Radial Tires only.
