Okay, so I'm going to need an email tune for this new cam and nitrous. What are some recommendations? I have seen a couple like Mike at OST and I like his work, but I thought I would get some feedback from you guys. Also: did you need to have a/f's datalogged? I'm not sure if my AEM wideband will datalog or not. I think there may be a wire on one of the harnesses for logging, but i'm not sure - any input on that is also helpful.

 

I would prefer to have my car dyno tuned, but I'm not sure if there is anyone in the Kansas city area that does good Nitrous tunes.

This is your best bet.  He will really help you and is very good at giving you all of the guidelines as to how and what to monitor.

Predator will be fine.

The Predator will work fine, but you have a separate log for all of your PIDs and one for your AFR. The Trinity gives you everything in one log with the analog input.

NOS is a specialty for Tim.

I would suggest a Dyno Tune with NOS anyway.

I think several of the tuners know what they are doing it's just what state do you want to visit?

Buy the trinity and get the af for I think $40

Yeah Mike at OST but I think you've figured that out.  Yes you need AFR etc.  Keep in mind to get it tuned he'll need logs of it on NOS more than likely so you're going to have to go somewhere you can use it to get logs.

I wont touch anything with nitrous via email, but if you want to trek on down to North Texas I would be happy to put it on the dyno and get it tuned for you

Remember, Mike can remotely dyno tune your car. That can get expensive, depending on how much dyno time you use. But it might just be the better option than travelling to him, or another dyno tuner. 

 

Just call your local dyno shop and tell them you have your own tuner, and what their hourly rate is. All you need is a good internet connection. My guess is they'll be okay with it because they won't have a tuner for your car anyway. They'll be happy to rent out the dyno. Talk to Mike, find out how much time he thinks he'll need on that dyno. Then do the math and see where it all sifts out.

That was Brian (Sohfast) I believe that did that....He is back with Diablo now.
