12.5? Thats worse then stock. Here I go... I know I am not a contributing member to this forum; however, I do spend a lot of time on this forum reading those topics that are posted by the members who seem to contribute the most. This is no bullshit forum and one that can be appreciated because it contains the most educated members when it comes to our cars... Now I have spent the last hour reading (bullshit) post about API/ShopHemi/Arrington because their disposition affects me and the direction I am going with my car... You see, I had Arrington build me a low boost 6.4/426 stroker motor about a year ago that supposedly put out 675 RWHP... The problem is that once the car was placed on a dyno here (in Oklahoma) it only put out 550RWHP and ran an embarrassing (to me) 12.5 sec 1/4 mile at 114 MPH at the track. Now, I will say that it took me around 11 months and 3k miles before I was able to get the car to the track after the build, that I understand not all dynos are calibrated the same and that I could possibly be having issues that are out of Arrington’s hands. But, what I am most pissed about with this whole situation is the fact that I have called Eric numerous times since October of this year and not heard back from him yet! Maybe 17K isn’t a lot of money to you guys but in my line of work it certainly deserves a fucking phone call back… I will add that Wyatt over there has returned my calls but has been unsuccessful in helping me out.
This post isn’t to put Arrington on blast or detour future clients but is intended to better inform you guys of what’s going on over there. I still plan to use this company but not if I can’t get a ring back.

Thanks! I think I'll opt for auto next time too, haha.
Well I can't blaim them for the bad ET but my point was that the power is not there and they have been of absolutely no help when it comes time to figuring out what's going on with it.

[size=4]Arrington is supposed to be using my car to develop their stand alone system to a 2.8KB. I took my car there in April of this year. .
I have to believe your issue and the original topic of this thread are directly related.
My bet is there hasn't been one single person over this time frame dedicated to getting your car done, due to employee shuffling and layoff. They are probably tasked with reinventing the freaking wheel when one guy leaves and another steps in.
Unfortunate timing to send it to Arrington on your part and just piss poor service on the part of Arrington.

B&R Im curious to know what your 60' ft was. MPH? Sometimes folks with more Hp then they are used too suffer a learning curve. Especially 6 speed guys.. Just a thought...

Here you go. I will admit that I need more track time but there is something going on with the car since the MPH is so low and the dyno numbers are low here. The car has not been shipped back to Arrington since it cost me about $2,500 to get it there and back and I do not plan to ship the car until I get a call from Eric or at least a tech or mechanic and not a salesmen playing middle man. I should of started a separate feed for this but was posting in here to share my recent experience with API.

91 Octane was what I was told.

What kind of FI and what's "low boost"?
675whp on "low boost" and 93oct seems optimistic.

What tires are you running?
A 295 Mich PSS in the rear. I know I need a DR and will get one before it goes back to the track in the spring.

D1 procharger handing out around 11 lbs.

I have replaced the belt with a shorter Gates fleet runner (green back) belt and will hopefully put the car back on the dyno Friday to check for belt slip. In the meantime I will continue to wait for a phone call from someone at Arrington that knows what the hell they are talking about. Arrington has reviewed the dyno sheet from here, track slips and admitted that there is something wrong with car but failed to provide a resolution. Here’s the best part… They agreed to loan me a tuner back in October so we could data log but I am still waiting. Wyatt (in sales) stated they don’t have any at this time and that they are currently waiting for their shipment of tuners to come in.
