12.6@107 First Time Out With The Sprintex Equipped V6 Challenger

First time out with the V6 Sprintex Challenger netted some impressive results. First hit of the night it went 12.9@106.
With some tuning tweaks we eventually went 12.65@107. The DA was 2300 for the last pass.
The cool part was driving 90 minutes to the track with the air on, going 80 and getting almost 30mpg!
Looking forward to see what we can make this thing run with some more mod's and better air.

Atta baby!!! Good stuff

I guess.

It's still a V6 - but I do remember a day back in the late 70's when I drove my 70 GTX to the same track, with a built 440, hairy cam, 12.5:1 pistons, 410 gears, ported heads, Edelbrock intake and a Holley 850 double pumper. I went 12.7@107 on slicks and was happy as could be. Then sweated my butt off driving home, had an ear ache from 90 minutes with the loud exhaust and probably got 10mpg. So there is something to be said for new technology.
