West Coast Tuners/shops??

Hey guys and gals. I just bought a 2016 scat pack shaker challenger. I'm in nor cal. Is there any trusted shops/tuners around? My last toy was an 03 3.4 whipple cobra that aed worked on. Looking at kooks long tubes and some bolt ons then probably a pro charger since I can't have a whipple with my shaker :(. Looking to get into the mile events, want to get her into the 200 mph club.

Not many shops honestly. I'd look to HHP on the east coast for parts and e-mail tunes. If you go more serious than that I know people locally. You can PM me for more. Where in Norcal are you?

Jeff

If you are serious about getting into the 200 mph club, set money aside for a complete motor build because a pro charger and bolt on's is not going to get you there.

I haven't looked into it to far yet but what little I saw there was clearance issues. Would be cool to get another whipple!

I've seen a couple of Maggies under a Shaker, I'm betting a Whipple would fit, with some massaging.

Petty's Garage was the first one to put the Maggie under the shaker if I remember right. The Whipple may fit but it's going to be tight, Whipple case is a little larger than the Maggie.

After doing some reading that's what I'm noticing. I can deal with the $6k forged striker lower and the other needed hardware but I'm not sure I want another caged car. These guys also want fire suppression etc. uggg

Yep anything over 199mph requires a cage, fire supression system, full fire suit and the list goes on.

It`s going to cost you about 40 - 50 K to do what you want to do
