Well at least bitching on the official Chrysler hotline about poor track performance, should make it nice and easy for them to mark the car "Warranty Void" in the tracking systems. Not likely to help make the car any faster... but at least he's saving the company money on any future repairs. So maybe they will toss him a bone. With or without lube....
Haha, I got a voice mail message on my home phone Friday. It was my dealer, and he sounded quite irritated. I don't know if I started some kind of shit-storm at Chrysler with the "buck bobble" terminology, but he told me in the message that I would HAVE to take it up with Chrysler, that it was out of the dealer's hands. Apparently he'd had some conversations with Chrysler's regional management -
AND he told me that Chysler apparently threatened to void my power-train warranty, because I had put in writing that I had driven the car at the track. He said they DIDNT void it, but the District Manager was apparently unhappy or something. LMFAO!!!
I would take them to court if that was the case, because - car was sold with a track pack - running it unmodified at the drag strip shouldn't void the warranty.
Fuck Chrysler - I am looking at alternate methods of eliminating the buck-bobble issue - provided that it will ever dry up so I can make some logs with my Trinity.
