I got hooked on the Indy 500 back when I lived there for three years (83-86). Tv does it no justice, you got to be there to fully understand just how fast these cars go around that oval.

Shame that greed crippled the Indy/CART series! I always enjoyed that series. At least the jewel at Indy is still there. I do enjoy catching the 500 early and Charlotte tonight. Would love to make it up there some day. Sandwiched in the racing will be LSU/Vandy for the SEC tourney championship. #1 vs #2 in college baseball. A game everyone in the SEC has waited all year for! I do love the College baseball postseason. May have to go up to Omaha and rattle Alan's cage!!!
