If you guys didn't get them ordered now is the time.

When you get the first set and test fit to your car to make sure they are perfectly let me know.

I'm with you Tout....

I've seen stuff that would take a body shop months to look good.

I don't have your kind of money to throw around on fancy carbon fiber doors. I'll have to stick with my crappy steel doors.

Our steel doors don't weigh shit after they gutted the reinforced parts.

Yeah I know but I like my story better. :D

lol I hear you.

What weight savings do you gain on the steel doors after gutting the braces?

with out glass I could pick my door up with 2 fingers. Now you want to see something heavy on the cars, the deck kid weighs a bunch. But that is where you want weight.

Phil you must be stupid, the deck lid ways 20 pounds with the lights out, it's the lightest body panel, the doors way a fucken ton 65lbs plus each. the carbon fiber doors weigh 9lbs each. They will have roll up windows you provide the glass.

Carbon Fiber manufacture is making them in NC $2000 for the first 10 sets then 2500 a set after that,6 sets paid for now.

John.. you need to talk to HEMIWGN. He is tbe king of knockin weight off the car. Mani and Mike at OST know him well. I saw his car a few weeks ago at the track. He shed 1000 lbs. Insane. I was very impressed with the methods he uses. You can learn from him. Definitely worth a phone call. He runs mid tens NA with cam and heads. You should see the brake rotors. Never seen such rotors before. Very light and very expensive.

Well since I do no have a SRT all I commented on was what my doors weighed versus my trunk lid with lights. I include the lights because I plan on using them. You need to buy my polycarbonate glass for your doors.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that there is plenty of weight back there anyway, i think a little bit less may help lol

Noooooo! The ass is definitely the light end. And when you try to lighten the car up for racing, the easy weight to remove is all in the rear. I've gutted my car, and sometimes it takes putting ballast back in the spare tire well to get weight transfer and traction.
