2010 Journey Dtc Heaven

2010 Jouney w/ 3.5 6 speed

Damn thing has been stalling on and off for 2 years. It was fine in the summer, but as the colder weather settled in, it's been acting up.

Took it for an 8 mile drive, car is definitely allergic to big bumps as that seems to trigger erratic behaviour. Here are the DTCs I pulled just now:

0310 - multiple misfires

1128 - too long closed loop bank 1

1129 - too long closed loop bank 2

0339 - crank pos. sensor intermittent

0221 - TPS 2 circuit performance

2135 - TPS 1/2 correlation

Last time it stalled a lot 0339 was up, and the crank sensor was replaced.

Back to the dealer tomorrow!

Yah I pointed them to that (actually, 18-024-11) They replaced the crank position sensor in July '12, and they added the shim this time around. They said if it happened again they'd lend us a datalogging device to try to capture the event, since it never seems to happen when they have the vehicle.

We brought it in last time April 2013, they magically couldn't reproduce the problem, then it was fine all summer until October 2013.

In the end, the Crank sensor and map sensor were changed months ago and the car runs just fine.

0339 was there all along, I guess they assumed a 2 year old crank sensor wouldn't be bad so soon. Who knows. Fingers crossed.
