2013 Charger Daytona 5.7l Na Cam Retard Test

I got a great tune from Mike and he suggested that we try out retarding the Cam on the 5.7L NA build. So he sent two tunes, one with the cam retard and the other a custom tune for my 6.4L SRV intake manifold install. Results are posted here on Photobucket:

The Cam is a Modern Muscle Custom Grind Cam I am extremely pleased with. It is mild but has great street manners and I like the gains down low. (214-218, intake .608 exhaust .598, LSA 114, ICL 107.) Other mods are the MM 87mmTB, JBA Shorties/HF's, 3.92 Getrag.

No difference between the two tunes on my NA build, but I loved the gains from the SRV intake with this tune and the torque curve is just what I was looking for to complement the 3.92 Getrag.

That's great numbers. I've been looking at that same cam for my 14 challenger rt. Question for you, when you installed the 6.4 intake did you activate the runners using the msd rpm switch method? Or did Ost write the calibration into your ecu to adjust the runners? I'd like to do the 6.4 intake as well. Thank you for your help.

I have the MSD switch and Circuit Boss hooked up. JS1977 helped me with all the wiring. I have had it on for months now with no problems. The MM Custom Cam along with the 6.4L SRV manifold and Mikes tune was a big jump in power for me. However, when I took the JBA Shorties off and added ARH LT's with HF's I am at 412 rwhp/ 428 ft-lbs. Here is the dyno that was run just after the install. This run was without the Longtube tune. I just had the Shorty tune on.

Waiting for cooler temps to go back to the dyno and check the adjustment for the manifold with the LT's. Right now I have the short runners kicking in at 4700 rpms but 4800 is most likely going to be better for more top end.

That's great, luckily ost is within an hour from my house. I know who I'm having tune my baby. I have long tubes on the way now. Then the cam.

Come April after the snow stops I'll have it all installed and tuned. I'm Looking for similar results To get me where I want to be when I take it to the track. Your still running stock heads as well correct?
