  1. Make sure your MSD rpm switch is as follows: RPM "ON" set to 46, 48, ect (For 4600 rpms, 4800 rpms....)RPM "Off" set to 80 for 8,000 rpmsCylinger set at 1 for V8 with coil packs Sounds like the MSD is setup backwards to me. You should gain around 25 lb-ft on the low end, see a slight dip when the short runner kicks in at 4600/4700 rpms, then the HP continues to rise a bit but not much. Definitely should not lose a lot of HP.
  2. That is what I thought about the PCM. TKS for the info. I am in the market for another toy and like you will most likely wait one year then start the mods. I waited until I had 8000 miles before I voided the new Daytona warranty. That seemed like forever.
  3. With the newer 2015+ Dodges, does the PCM record the mileage? If it does how do you get away with mileage on EVIC display and that on the PCM?
  4. Saw this on another forum. Guy in a Hellcat coming back from a cruise.
  5. FCA/Dodge should take control of the allocation and not let the dealers get involved except for delivery. Similar to what Ford did with the GT, except instead of a written request that is reviewed, folks should be able to send in their certified timeslips for the past year. That way the ride will be used as intended.
  6. Drive a Lambo down in Miami and see what happens!
  7. This is great! Is American Muscle Performance LLC going to be similar to AMP and located down south Fla?
  8. Not the same as the Hellcat. The springs and shocks are different than on the Scat Pack. The Hellcat has the Active damping suspension that is adjustable. Good price for the axles and Differential. Those are expensive pieces to purchase. "The Active Damping Control Module (ADCM) controls the suspension and ride for the SRT version of this vehicle by adjusting the rebound and jounce of the shock assemblies using the above information and predetermined settings for maximum vehicle control. The shock absorbers are unique to the Active Damping System (ADS). Each shock absorber has a valving unit that is external, but still part of the shock absorber. Inside each valving unit are two solenoids that control the damping valves to alter the ride of the vehicle. The shocks are replaced as an assembly, they cannot be disassembled for repair. "
  9. This will give you a rough idea for 80lb injectors. Fuel pressure is 58 I believe. http://fuelinjectorclinic.com/hp-calculator
  10. So true about the water pumps. I had to get an aftermarket pump last month because of the back order at my dealership. I paid a lot more than $125. That is a good deal.
  11. , Isn't that pretty close to "Almost a full second". It gets worst if you look at the 1/4 mile. Did I mention they were ugly as sin with that new rear end?
  12. IMO it will only help the Mustang GT's gas mileage. The new Stang is slow and is almost 1 second slower than the new SS Camaro's 0-60. Put on too much weight for a small two door.
  13. IMO, the 5.7 is one of the strongest Hemi's that are out there capable of 8 lbs boost without any problems. There are a couple of Challengers I know that are close to 10 lbs. (They do not beat on the cars at the track every weekend) EIther blower will get you to a safe 8 psi with a good tune. I was at 8.5 psi on the Daytona for about a year before the stroker. It is quiet and a sleeper. But you can only take the E force so far before it max's out. (around 10 - 11.5 lbs) If no additional engine mods are in the future I would go with the cheaper of the two. The Whipple will be begging for more boost but it sure looks pretty in the engine bay.
