Anyone Done The Hot Rod Power Tour?

Like the title says, anyone? Was it worth it, was it fun?? if my contract works out and the timing is right, I am thinking about running the whole tour when i get back. I think it would be a hoot. Looks like it generally goes the first or second week of June. It looks to start in Dallas this year btw.

We have done the Power Tour. 2009,2010 and 2011. Had a great time and meet many new friends. Didn't do it this yr, interfered with MSHS at MIR in MD. It will probably start in Texas next yr, because it ended there this year.

Alot of driving is required every day. Parking lot parties every night. They always seem to pick cities where the temps are 90-100 degrees. It can get expensive. Diferrent hotel every night. 2000-3000 miles usually. Usually takes 1-2 days of driving to get to starting city and 1-2 days to get home after the 7 day tour.

Cool, thanks HEMIwoman. If the timing is right, I might just do this. Need to find a co-pilot though.. Looks to be roughly 1000 miles from PHX to Dallas, 1400 miles for the power tour, and then another 1000 + miles back, it would be a journey for sure. See what happens!

You think they will get that high next year? Its starts in Dallas, of course the exact stop off points havent been announces as far as i know anyways..
