Gauge Recommendations

hey folks, haven't been on much as I needed to finsh up some otehr cars. I just let the duster go and I am throwing some of that cash into the challenegr.

I have a pro-charger coming and want to do gauges. I have searched and searched and have seen bits and pieces, but I am looking for recommendations on the best setup.

I need to order some stuff soon so any help would be appreciated.

I have AutoMeter mechanical Boost and their wide band. If I had it to do over I might consider the aeroforce for the wideband, but I like the mechanical boost gauge.

Dual Aeroforce gauges with an AFR analog input in the Razor A piller mount. If I had to do it again I might have went with a three gauge pod. Very happy with the Aeroforce gauges, usually leave mine on coolant, ST Knock, AFR and vac/boost.

afr, fuel pressure, everything else on trinity. hell just tie those both into the trinity analog input and save even more clutter. that way you can datalog with those as pids

If it were mine, I'd first figure out if you want two or three gauges. If it were two, I'd do one Aeroforce so you can see timing, boost from the MAP sensor, IAT's, coolant temp, etc... and one fit for purpose AFR gauge with a large readout. If I were to do three, I'd do two Aeroforces so you get four data elements and then the one AFR gauge.

A dedicated boost gauge is overkill...it doesn't change much unless you change something.

^^^ In the process of doing this very same gauge set-up, dual aeroforce & dedicated AFR. Gong with the 3 gauge Razors Edge A-Pillar.

decisions decisions....thanks so much folks..

Just put in one of everything (from a 'vette forum)...be sure and use individual mounts too (and to think I'm getting counseling to drill one hole in the dash)...

I did the dual aeroforces in a dual pillar... if I had it to do over again ^^ is what I would probably do.

pull one of the aerofroces and drop in one of Innovates blue or red AFR gauges...tees right into the LC-1...bingo.

Well, this is exactly what I did...3 gauge pillar....I figured now that I got rid of the Duster, who knows where I will end up with this car in the next year or two. All gauges and pro-charger are on the way.

So which gauges did you end up going with?

I am doing the dual areforce gauges and I have the Innovative MTX-L AFR gauge (I have one of these in my RR clone car and love it)
