3rd Annual Legends Nostalgia Drags & Rod Run Pics And Vids

My son and some friends attended the second day of this event yesterday in Sealy, TX at the Lonestar Motorsports Park. Same place where Lonestar MOPAR Fest has been held the last couple of years.

Thought some of you might enjoy a the images from the event. Very cool getting to hang out with these folks and listen to all the stories. We ended up getting to know the gent from San Antonio that owns this old drag. Nitro car that was build by the original owner, who was with him, and shortly thereafter they began moving the engines to the rear, behind the driver. So he ran it for a while and then decided not to hack the car up so he garaged it. Newest part on the car is 45 years old....great stuff.

Another cool vid from "Cacklefest"

Lots of great MOPARs there and the best part, of course, was watching the racing

Here's the album on photobucket all the images...enjoy...

The iPhone does a good job for what it is....the event was a lot of fun.

Kenny - sorry I didn't give you a heads up but I thought you were allergic to driving out West....LMAO. Just kiddin', bud. I found out from Chris on SCLX late in the week. I should have let you and Sean know just in case you got a burr in your saddles to go. Next year.

^^^lol I don't make it a habbit of going to Sealy often but for something like that I would have. We were planning on going to RPR friday night but found out about noon friday they were closed so we will be going to RPR next friday with my friend from work so he can run his outlaw mustang, car was running 7:80 on a n/a motor with a 200 shot. Just put a new motor in it with a 400 fogger system on it so it should be quite a show. :)
