I need a little help. I just installed the 393 and I would like to start with around 700 rwhp. I have a pwr 393 engine, pwr mean street heads, ysi blower, kooks long tubes, and blower cam. I need to know about how much boost will I need to achieve this rwhp?

FWIW, if you know the horsepower of the engine without boost, approximately 14 pounds will double the NA horsepower of the engine (300 HP engine NA = 600 HP with 14psi)

FWIW ROBSRT is running the duel pump saddle set up from Arrington. Although he is at the edge of his set he is currently not running out of fuel and we are running a small shot of N20 off the same set up... he is also running -8 fuel line and aftermarket rails w/ a cross over front and rear.. Thought Id share...

If you need injectors that size, I'd be bagging the stock line and get a proper fuel system. Motor or a fuel system...seems like pretty good insurance.

stock fuel line from tank with ID1000's???? i can't say i have ever heard of this combo.

OP - at the very least, upgrade your fuel line from the tank to the rails. at least allow the API pump to get every bit of volume it can to the rails.

He will be fine with stock fuel lines. I made 865rwhp with Ford 80's and twin 255's with my Jeep. I didn't read what pump he has. Hoping it's a 400 at least. We make 700rwhp all day long in Jeeps with stock fuel lines. Keep in mind though Chrysler love the Jeeps more as we have a tad bigger fuel lines than the cars. Hehe. Just be he's running ID1000'S that doesn't mean squat. I'm sure he's just getting ready for the future. Hell, I run ID1000'S and only see about 7000 injector pulse width. As long as the tune is scaled accordingly for them, he will be fine.

Harrison....respect but I haven't a clue what that means. If your stocker fuel line in a jeep is bigger it's bigger. He's got what he's got.

Guys thanks for all the great feed back it has really help me with my build as I move forward. I'm going to upgrade to a return less fuel system with the 1500 fuel hat from shop hemi. I do have a few more questions. What fuel pressure regulator do you guys recommend? What size line from tank to fuel rails(-8 or -10). What type of line braided(if possible a link)? What should I set the base fuel pressure at?

8 fuel line, If you boost regulated. I run mine at 50psi but I'm making 17 18 psi and she climbs to 90 when at WOT but I also run 2 A1000 pumps.

Any name brand regulator will do fine like Aremotive or something.

Let you tuner set the base fuel pressure.

I just installed a PWR 393 built motor, long tubes, blower cam for 15lbs, corsa exhaust, and a ysi. I'm going from a v-3 vortech to a ysi blower. I sent my v-3 and exchanged it for the ysi. I need some suggestions on the start up. I'm afraid I will wash the cylinders if I don't do it right. Here are a few specific questions. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Should I start it up Na or boosted?
Should I install the new ID1000's injectors or use the old 45lb injectors for the start up?
What type of oil 10w30 or 10w40 (for break in)
How long should it run to seat the rings?
