Cam

And You Call Yourself A Engine Builder

farther into building a motor than I would ever dream of, but my number 1 question is when they cut the blocks in the middle of cylinders. probably a good reason but it seems to me that would be building in a very potential weak area especially when you start introducing power adders. but, like I said, probably a good reason

Because the Crank and Cam journals are not there in the MIDDLE of a cylinder. That is the only place to fuse the block together and retain proper main journal and cam journal setup. Basically it wouldnt work any other way, you cant just butt up main caps and break out the welder.

So today I'm sitting on my fat ass getting some reports wiped out and got How It's Made running or should I say How to completely butcher a description.....but I digress

Anyhow what catches my eye but this muthafucking monster manifold. That's off a Bently TT 800ftlb of sumbitching cool ass shit. And I thought my LT motor with 17" of runner length was impressive.

That's one of the reasons I refuse to watch that show, along with over using "perfectly".

I watched that episode last night, quite funny. "And the technician applies special assembly lube to the CAM bearings then installs the crank shaft." lol
