2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee

Hey guys I just bought this Jeep to drive back and forth to work. It has the 3.6L Engine with 40K miles.

I just noticed an accumulation of oily dirt by the alternator area. It doesn't seem to be leaking now but at some point has. Should I be concerned about the cylinder head on that side? Have no experience with this engine so if someone does please chime in.

Thanks. Happy Father's Day everyone!

Hmmm. 38k on my 3.6 and it is clean as a whistle. I have two A/C lines that run right by that area...what do those hoses look like...maybe an A/C leak?
