Remove sway bar bushings and coat the inside of the rubber bushing that wraps around sway bar with Sil-Glyde Brake Lubricant. Tighten back and test drive and check to see if noise goes away...

Congrats Speedy. I am sure you will enjoy it. I know that drive all too well as my folks farm is 15 minutes from Mound City MO. Not sure which way you went but I could of saved you at least an hour over the GPS. Now let's see some pics!

I know this is not Mopar related but thought I would share anyway. Pretty cool dude and is a hell of a driver. Pretty cool sponsorship on our companies part. Enjoy. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gtEeQ_2Ymzs&feature=youtu.be

I am not saying this is the problem but it very well could be... Read below as I have helped several on this site. http://www.jeepgarage.org/f97/steering-wheel-shimmy-anybody-98564.html

Hey guys I just bought this Jeep to drive back and forth to work. It has the 3.6L Engine with 40K miles. I just noticed an accumulation of oily dirt by the alternator area. It doesn't seem to be leaking now but at some point has. Should I be concerned about the cylinder head on that side? Have no experience with this engine so if someone does please chime in. Thanks. Happy Father's Day everyone!

I would do two things. 1) Change oil and put non-detergent in crankcase. Test drive vehicle and make sure NO Boost comes in for a good bit. 2) Pull Plugs and check cylinders with borescope for oil in cylinder. Sure sounds like it could be oil rings not seated. You are in the process of elimination right now. Good luck!
