Gas Mileage

well today I took my wife's 2011 SE RALLY to Austin Texas to pick up my rims. I had filled up last night but as I started out the day I went to Lake Charles to pick up my son so he could help[ out with some of the driving.

before we left LC. I topped off the tank and we head out on I10 going west, when I got to the meeting point in Austin I was at 300 miles and still just a tad over a 1/2 tank of gas. picked up the rims and started to head back, Low fuel light came on just as we were leaving Houston. Stopped in Baytown to fill up.

488 miles on a tank!! man, couldn't believe that,, average MPG was figured to be 27 mpg.

after filling up in Baytown I dropped my son back off at his place in Lake Charles and headed home. total 175 miles after the fill up and still over 3/4 of a tank left.

I got 23 on the way back from Alabama on the one tank I didn't play excessively. My local driving has dropped from 20-21 to 16-17. I know why... I'm good with it :)

On the way back from CF3 we averaged 24.4 mpg. That was cruising around 70 mph on the interstate. Not bad for car with a blower.

Stevo

I'm running about the same steve o..

I got right at 25 when mine was new, but with the stroker and blower it's right at 20. Around town I seem to get about 7. Don't know what's up with that!

I have the same problem. Got one tank around 23-24 after the blower install, now my mileage is down to around 15-16. No idea why either :)

I made an observation in April at Challengerfest. Namely, that Challenger owners tend to have a heavy right foot.
