Arrington Custom 10 Rib Whipple 4.0l Drive Assembly

As most already know here, I had this build down @ Summit back in the summer & my mph was pretty low due to belt slippage. Well Joe Helms over @ API never forgot that & customized a new 10 rib front drive system to resolve the slippage @ high rpm. Seems like it takes a lot to turn these 4.0L Whipples.

I gotta say, these parts are top notch & so wide, it looks like something that should be on a Top Fuel Dragster! Since there's no tracks open here in Michigan, I plan on doing the upgrade as soon as I get the time & simply strap it down on a local Dyno to see if this kills the slip & hopefully pick up some more power on the top end.

Love it Frank. Looking forward to getting her all dialed in so you can break another shifter lol

A.J.

Ha! I hope that never happens again, way too embarrassing driving home with a pair of vise grips for a shifter :D

I'll let you know well ahead of dyno day, so I can get you some logs.

Joe is a very smart guy who can make anything! Nice set up Frank.

True dat Don. Thanks, it oughta work out well. The 4L Whipple CJ's & Camaro's have used this kind of drive assembly with great success.
