No Thread Bumping Just First Class Service From Bfny & Enhanced Transmissions, Aj, Dave Weber, Scott And Andy From Eastcoastmopart

Just like the title says no thread bumping just first class all the way from Erik, Paul and Ben up there in Cleveland Ohio. I can't forget Boss Scott also aka 1fst4dr but will come to that here in a sec.

Some of ya all are friends with me over on my FB page and follow along with me and my bi-polar gator. Anyway its been no secrete that Nick and I got hit hard by the racing bug and the Modern Street Hemishoot Out Series last year in 2014. What started out as a trip in July of last year to se Erik and Wendy for a new Getrag setup turned into an amazing journey and we got to meet so many great friends and enjoy so many great things all over the country.

As Scott would say to "land the plane" every time Nick, Alex and I would come back from a race weekend Mr. Pete (my pops) would always ask us a bunch of questions he just couldn't understand why were were so jacked up for days after an event even if we didn't take home anything for the "wall of win" out in the lobby. We all would tell him the same thing Mr. Pete you just can't imagine the fun and how great the people are. Over the course of many months Mr. Pete then started asking about going faster in his Ram and we would answer questions and Scott would answer questions and I know he talked to Erik in Bradenton this past March for the 2015 season opener.

I had a 392 stroker motor being built for my Magnum and as I thought more and more about it I kept saying in my frazzled brain you know I bet my pops would love that and as only a few know my dad is having some health issues in fact has had some for some time he is just good about hiding it from others. I wanted to do something for him that would make him smile and something he could come and enjoy with all of us.

I called Dave up and asked him if we could move the 392 engine build over to a truck as I wanted to give that to my pops and also do a blower with it. Dave hooked me up with an entire package EForce Blower and 392 motor for the Ram. In September Pete Midnite Ostman took that up to BFNY in preperation for the install. Pete I can't thank you again for your help in doing that and Dave I want to thank you and Chris for the great service too. Seeing so many great people in the community working together is an awesome thing. I'm so proud to be part of this community.

Two weeks ago Scott took the Ram up to BFNY to do the install with Erik and my pops got his truck back on Monday. Boss thank you for working hard and taking time away from your family to do this for us.

Five days to yank the old motor and put the new setup in and boy has it been a home run!! From AJ''s awesome tune, to Eriks hard work, to Scotts hard work, and Ben and Paul building one of the finest transmissions for our platforum ya all made my pops a happy man and you made his daughter smile.

For most of my life I was either on the wrong side of my father due my poor choices in life and then I was a business partner when he opened the door to me after I got out of rehab years ago to come back to the family business that I really didnt' deserve to be in, in the first place. To be able after all these years have something that a father can enjoy with his daugher I can't even put into words what all the people here did for that moment Monday.

My pop is a man of few words, but I know when the man is happy and the facial expressions were something I will never forget when I got in the truck to go for a ride. I could have swung the camera over for all to see but I thought the better of it as the ride went on although brief. Somethings are for you to treasure with the person you love so I left the camera on the road.

Thank you Erik, Paul, Ben, Dave and Modern Muscle, Pete, Andy at Eastcoast, Scott (boss), AJ, THANK YOU! I owe ya all a cold one of your choice when I see you all again soon.

PPS Mr. Pete will be racing his truck at Atco!!

Awesome story Heidi ! Pop seemed like he was thrilled with the truck. :) I tried many times growing up to get my Dad into performance cars but he never took an interest in it.

I talked to my Mom (she's 83) a couple weeks ago and she wants to come out to the Texas Mile in March when I run my car again, I can't wait ! :)

I can't say enough good about Erik, he helped me tremendously on making my build happen, hopefully I will be able to repay him in March with a new PB at the Tx Mile. :)

Very cool story. Makes me wish my real Dad was still around to see the Challenger. He got me in to hot rods and had me handing him wrenches and holding the light when I was still in diapers. Very cool you get to enjoy this with yours.
