Best Way To Break-In The 392?

45 posts in this topic

I left 60 or 70' burnouts across the dealers parking lot and never slowed down since, the bell blew the motor to pieces sometime around 15000 miles or so.

I'd beat the balls off everytime I'd get it till you get enough then it will be broke in good.

The first year I had it I got 13 tickets. lol

13 tickets? How the heck did you keep your license, John? More than two moving violations here in NYS, and they're ready to put peanut butter on your license and make a snack of it.

I took mine to ChallengerFest with 1000 miles on it and straight to the drag strip! All I did was change the break in oil and put in normal oil

I may not even have 1000 miles by Challengerfest! But I will have done my first oil change, and be ready for the drag strip!

If you want to run down to Bowling Green on March 3rd we will be going to the test and tune weather permitting.

I thought you all ready had your car? Well yeah, let me take it down the track, I am easy on them.

Phil if you take that thing down the track like you do yours he will need a trailer or bring an extra set of axles.
