That is bad azz ! holy chit.

is there a main benifit to the turbos other than you can get more power out of them for the same $ as the V7.

Are they well behaved on the street like my set up and just better for the strip ?

Boost on pump gas was @ 10lbs. Boost so far on the race gas is @ 15lbs......pushing for 18 - 20 when it`s all said and done

Chris, turbo`s just make more power plain and simple. You can`t even imagine how streetable these are with the right tune......amazing manners on the street.

Very nice. So I'm trying to get educated on these things. Why are the oil drains out of the turbos not straight down vs at an angle, before going to the collector and then pump? I'm a TT rookie so it's a genuine question.

Sam the drains are up and down , just not "straight" up and down..lol.. they drain fine this way and there just isnt enough room underneath to do the much different..

Ah....not really straight up and down but OK, Don. I've been reading up on these and I'm simply trying to understand. Apparently the fact that they sit below the oil pan is part of the issue/complication. I'll keep reading.

Regardless, beautiful build and obviously incredible power. Something's working right. I'm jealous!

Is it me or is does that HP and torque curve look odd? The numbers are crazy good. It's the duration before it tanks and how hard it comes on?

I'm not used to seeing such a nonlinear HP pull and the torque looks like it is running out of breath really early.

Is  this what a turbo should look like?

That's just how that superflow dyno reads. My graph from Arrington looked weird too on the torque. I'm guessing it has to do with the drum size or algorithm used or whatever.

Cool. Where do you guys stand with the tuning on that forged, factory 392 that you're boosting to the 12lb range? Last I heard AJ was just about through. Any H.P./torque numbers yet that you can give us?

Sam, when is your turbo build going to be done?

What size did you go with?

Just speculating lol

Focker! You're not helping....

Don - don't forget some of us have Tremec transmissions....more room, buddy. Not nearly the bulk of the autos. I'm thinking 6466's should be no problema. 6766's would be the cat's meow.

Oh crap...
