Cf5 Brew String....

Denis mentioned bringing some brews from French Canada to add hair to your chest after Stevo introduced me to MOLSON Canadian beer at CF4.

I'll bring some great local Austin beer and some TX staples... some IPA for sure.

Bring a couple of your locals to try a few different beers if you like. I'll be enjoying a few for sure on Thursday night out front.

Doesn't matter what I bring, it's gone Friday afternoon and I restock. Not sure how long the local liquor store has been called Chuck's, but I've been a major investor for 4 years!!! lol

I need to start working on my immunity........I usually bring Abita, but it seems that is available everywhere so I'll find something else. Most of our micro's are awful. Abita does so many well regarded seasonals and varieties that the other smaller breweries try too hard to come up with something different and they are generally not my thing, but if anyone wants to try the latest locals are NOLA Brewing, Lazy Magnolia, BayouTeche Brewing, Tin Roof, Covington Brewhouse. Tin Roof is the most promising of these.

Kinda sad considering the brewery history in New Orleans (Dixie, Jax, Falstaff, Regal) All were good working man's brews, keeping in mind that all the heavy stuff you northerners drink was not huge here until it became trendy with the college crowds. Not many here looking to drink a stout when it's 97 and humid as hell!

Well, totally sucks, but I am not going to be able to spend the time getting out to CF5. We just bought a house so having to move shit over to the new one and get the old one ready to list. Too much going on right now. Sucks.

I'm traveling light on the suds this year. I'll stock up at Chuck's when I get there. Only thing we have here local is Abita and they've got that everywhere so no reason to lug it cross country. I guess I could bring some Dixie or Blackened Voodoo, but neither is that big a deal.
