Range Signup Thread

I've been meaning to get this up sooner, but Lisa has been talking to the Range and we are on for this year. Range time will be Friday morning from 9AM until Noon. We'll plan on leaving the hotel at about 8AM for the trip up to AIMPerfect which is up near Park City - about a 30 minute drive. We will be finishing up just in time to head over to meet up with the cruise which we generally set up to start nearby in Park City.

For those that have not been, AIM Perfect has a great facility with several areas and has been very accommodating to us. The trip to the range has been a huge hit the last two years . We have a mix of enthusiasts and newbies and even manage to left them Canadians get some trigger time in. Many of us bring quite an arsenal and most everyone is more than willing to give every one a chance to try out their weapons.

We have a good number of guys that are very experienced shooters as well as former/active military and LEO's so I will be looking to some of you to help me with range safety, but that has not been any problem at all so far as I can honestly say that this group parties hard, but the range trips have been "serious fun" and we all take gun safety very seriously.

I believe cost will be $10 at the range, but I'll finalize that shortly. We are working on some prizes and light competition, but this trip is all about fun.

Please note that this is entirely a separate entity and in no way officially affiliated with Challengerfest. Just a bunch of good folks getting together to have some fun on the side.

I'm in, will bring the 44 magnum and the ruger 22' target pistol. Thanks Charles and Lisa. Are we going to have the exploding targets again that was a blast to watch.

I think Rob brought them last year. I might check and see if I can get some. Next time I am in Baton Rouge I need to stop by Red Jacket. The TV show was a joke, but they do have some cool stuff. I've never been to their store, though I had an office in Baton Rouge a block away after Katrina.

I'm in this year.....I'll be bringing my .357S&W...I'd like to try a 9 or .40 if folks are willing to share. I promise I only break car stuff :P

Greg's .44 is a hand cannon! Nice shooter! Only thing I remember having more pop last year was Sean's 10mm, but it was close!

Guess I will have to do everything I can to make it.
