3/10 Gain From Lmi

31 posts in this topic

As you know I put this eforce on last year and have been fighting for consistency. it's been hard for me to even get into the 11's. I thought it was the car so back to AJ's where he'd tweet the tune but still a 12.0 car at the track. So I talked to Legmaker at Detroit and he said try my true cold air. Before Vmp I texted him and asked if he could bring one to Vmp. I drilled the hole at home and figured lets gets some track data with it. In test and tune Friday morning sure enough first two passes were 12.2-12.0. Into the pits I go and install the true cai. Within 1 hour I'm back in the lanes. First pass 11.7. Hot dog man this thing works!! So right back to the lane and backed it up with another 11.7. I'm freakin out. Now I change class from 12.5 to 11.5. And strip the car of weight. You know the usual back seat, trunk floor and tray. Back to the lanes where I laid down 11.5 passes all day. Broke out on 1 pass with a 11.49. But still win that round against a 11.2 red light pass from I think Greg green. Went on to place second in the 11.5 Legmaker sponsored ss class. The whole weekend was nothing but Winn for me. It felt good to finally beat Granpa Greg. We have been talkin shit for a year now and purposely race each other at every event to see my progress.

I want to thank Chris Harrington from Legmaker intakes for my win. He makes a product that works. If you have a supercharger and want a little more at the track GET THE TRUE COLD AIR From LMI INTAKES.

TVS needs all the help it can get. LMI all the way. Curious, what do the slips look like?

That's awesome! Maybe someday I'll have the disposable $$$ to try out the LMI. The few "cold-air" intakes I have tried never helped at the track, so I'm still rocking the stock intake after 8 years lol.

Yep, the TVS2300 responds very favorably to ditching the stock air box and going with some type of larger filter and the colder the air the better. I think we saw about a 30RWHP gain IIRC.

Where you'd really see the difference is the Pratio.
