I've never heard that....they've always said it retains everything. The only question would be the active runners, since this Vortech is not replacing the manifold like the Maggie would, but it says it keeps all the features in the description.

As I have asked, I wonder if they are using a truck PCM since it has had the active runners on at least the 2010 5.7 PCM.
