Water is not really an issue with these intakes unless you do something stupid like driving the car through a foot of standing water. I've had mine on for 12,000 miles so far and not one issue. The filter is pretty well protected as far as road spray, you would literally have to submerge the front of the car.

There's a very effective slip on shield (soft slick material) for the filter that I ran and my car is slammed. No issues.

Same here, I've pulled the sock on mine and just blew it off with the air compressor and the actual filter still looked brand new. Made a believer out of me on the pre-filter sock.

Thanks guys, hole saw and template provided by Kenny made this go very quickly. Hardest part is removing all of the trim pieces, and that is more tedious than anything.

I have stickers too Mike, make that 75 HP!
