Hhp Has A Record Setting Day 11/8/15

The day was a good one, I ended up taking back the title for fastest Hellcat in the world at Cecil yesterday running 9.700 @141.92 , John Reids Challenger ran a 8.75 and Sal had a PB 8.89 in his Charger, the big news was Rob Goss running 6.92 @ 203 down in Maryland for the MIR event, I'm sure all above will post their stories.

Great job Josh & Bruce

Tell us more about this 9.7 at 142 in the Hellcat!

I have been working with Josh/AJ on tuning and a few up grades the last few months,we have done the bottom OD pulley, long tube headers and catback with the cat delete, 150 shot nitrous, drag radials and drive shaft and the tune, netting 900 RWHP, car is full weight at 4500 plus driver, car is completely stock otherwise. I need to add a cage at this point but I want this car as a driver too, my goal is to go 8's and then back it off.

900RWHP on a factory motor. That is just bad ass. I'm real curious what the limits will be on one of these.

Forged pistons and crank I know....are the rods forged in these as well?

How are you guys delivering the nitrous?

I hope you guys are gonna bring it to CF7.

Congrats to all, John's Hell Cat just keeps me on amazement ! Not that I want to see anyone blow a motor but I'm really curious to see just how much one will take, this is nuts on a stock motor.

Rob's record setting pass was awesome! Just amaze's me how the car leaves, no drama, just hauls ass !

And doing it with an iron block at these power levels is something I would never though I would see.

Rob's car is the baddest modern Hemi on the planet,a well derserved record for the time and effort put into it by Rob and Bruce, the wins should start to add up, I'm looking forward in seeing it in the winners circle next season.

John

Thanks all, it was a good day for HHP. They have worked tirelessly on this platform since it arrive in 06 and deserve a lot of credit for where we have been able to take it. I'm glad I have been able to be a small part of their successes

small part ????? Don't underestimate your success Rob - you and Bruce are a very strong team with the help of BES and others support.

No kidding. Rob is so far out in front of everyone else we are just all watching and admiring. No question it is one heck of a team.
