Ok Someone Needs To Step Up

I keep seeing people mention in post about things than plan on doing before CF3. Before there is a CF3, there needs to be an organizer. And to take the load off the organizer, some volunteers would be nice.

So guys and "click chicks", who is volunteering to plan this shindig?

I think J did a great job and hope he takes the lead again, it would be hard to beat his effort or even match it.. But like last time I am available to help who ever does it. Who ever does take it up, the Holiday Inn across the street might be a better option this time as it has a larger parking area with a conference center that could provide a meal for the final night.

I'm sure there's lots that can be done by online, email, or phone that I could help with so add me to your volunteer list. Do you or anyone have any thoughts on when. The end of April for CF2 was perfect timing.

I am trying to get the thought process started and also am willing to help with whatever. I do not have the vendor contacts for sponsors that some of the guys have. And we need those to make the event a success. I agree Jay did a great job and hope he volunteers to be the ringleader again Though with him looking at mustangs?????

Nah the mustang thing I would say is just him thinking out loud. He would take a beating selling his car with what he has in it, like the rest of us. As meticulous as J is I would say he has a spread sheet of every sponser, their contact info and what they gave last year. I have an updated menu the food vendor gave me a while back, I all ready passed onto J for next year. But you are right with about 8 months to go it is a good time to start talking about it.

From what I have read, he is not selling but looking to add to the "Herd."

I am from Canada (Toronto) and I can help with organizing the "Northern Click!" I will try and get more Canadians to come next year.

If there is a CF3, I will be there.

It was honestly too much work for one person last year. I nearly killed myself making CF2 happen. I'm glad you guys thought it was a worth while event. I probably had 300 hours in it to try to make it something everyone would feel worth the effort to attend.

Mike and I are working on CF3 now. We'll be looking for some assistance from folks here and Lisa, we can definitely use your organizational talents for CF3.

Pretty safe to say Val and I will be there too. A tentative date to book off at work as early as possible would be helpful, by January or Feb.

I think it needs to be later than April, as much as the possibility of cool weather is good for D-A We got VERY lucky with the weather this year - the two nice warm days sandwiched in between cold wet weather.

You know I will help again, just let me know and I get the same stuff going again.

Jim actually around here it is better to go earlier. Late March/early April is usually dry and cool. Late April through mid June is usually wet and hot. October is the driest month in KY, that is why most festivals are then.
