So we used what is marked as the carshow area for trailer parking last year, unless I'm missing something. Going to be snug so we'll have to be smart about parking the trailers and such...that should be colorful.

:D

Mike I think the idea J had was like the Hilton, once most people park they will be there until they leave for the track Saturday morning. I do not think most will leave their cars in the grass over night. Get with J but I think anywhere you want on the black top would be fine.

Plus have you seen Sam pull a trailer he needs lots of room lol.

I would put the cars in the three long parking lanes to the right of the are marked for the stage. If I counted right, there are about 105 parking spaces there. If we got started directing traffic early enough, one lane could be dedicated to each of the three classes. Then use the areas below and to the right of the stage for the overflow. That gets us somewhere close to 140 parking spots. I am including Phil's definition of the car show classes in the Welcome envelope everyone gets when they check in at the hotel so owners should know which class they belong in.

I like Lisa's idea. The registration table will need to up front and center somewhere around where the car show takes place so people can get registered as they come in so keep that in mind too.

I don't care how you all do it, but parking classes usually makes a car show boring walking down a isle of similar cars. Also some guys like to park with certain people and they may be in different classes. Just a thought.

Phil you are the expert, not me. I know it will be a lot less work if you are not having to direct people to park in particular areas.

I think that'll work, but Sam may need more room lol

.

I LOVE the fact Sam gets his own trailer parking area!! :)
