First would like to thank everyone that came out to support ChallengerFest for another year. In todays times its hard to take off work and travel great distances but seeing the numbers of members old and new that showed up was truly humbling. To all our sponsors that contributed to making this event happen, we couldn't have done this without you. They did more than just sponsor race classes. They contributed to our quirky awards and stepped up with out charity drive for Wounded Warriors which I believe we raised over 2600.00. A big shout out to Alan and everyone from this forum that stepped up to organize and help with all sorts of things to make this event greater than any before. Lisa for her awesome work with the goody bags among many other things like the shooting range. Phil for his leg work on the ground and with the mobile dyno. Greg for his work with the BBQ and shirts. Josh for his work on the shirts, we were sorry that he couldn't make it. Quite a few others stepped up to contribute monetarily or support wise and we appreciate it. And to Speedy, my buddy is just awesome. He is one OCD mofo but boy does that come in handy for these things. He did most of the leg work on this. Im just a face and a mouth. Shocking right? You knocked it out of the park again buddy!

The weekend was all together fantastic. From Thursday evening when we counted 41 cars showing up by night fall. The range on Friday morning where around 25 people decided to go. The range seemed to enjoy having us. The cruise which I didn't go on but heard was a great success. BBQ Friday night went perfect. The pit master and crew where right on time and for serving 150+ people in a parking lot full of cars with pretty good tasting BBQ was impressive. Car Show went off without a hitch. Hugh Jassol did his thing which was a little distasteful. Hope it didn't scare off too many people or be overheard by small children. It decided late Friday night to rain. Glad it didn't decide to stay around till the race. Little drizzle early Saturday morning but that cleared off fast. The track performed flawlessly with even providing at a reasonable price help to run the front gate. Track crew helped me keep everything moving and Smoking Joe was crazy as ever on the mic.

Then there was the racing. It was pretty good. Even without my car, which this made me miss driving it I was there to help others and even see a bunch of friends make new personal best in their cars. Boatman, Speedy, Lakersfan, Mopar408, IronChallenger to name a few. Im sure Im forgetting some. We also managed to get out of there without even 1 serious breakage. I think we had one fried clutch (which he could still drive) and 1 whacked out ABS caused by a bad line lock. Thanks to everyone for following direction and keeping the flow of cars moving. I hope everyone got to make all the passes they wanted to. I tried my best to keep it organized and moving along.

Even need to thank Smokey Bones restaurant for giving us half their place on a Saturday night. So we could eat, BS and give out awards.

Thanks again everyone. Im terrible with names but it was great meeting a bunch of you for the first time and seeing others again. Being from different parts of the country our get togethers are few and far between. Hopefully this weekend will give you some good memories and look forward to doing this again next year.

I'm pissed that I had to missed this, but shit happens. You guys seemed to have had a blast, and I'll catch up with everyone next year. Who knows, maybe I might wash my car for the event.

^^^^ This

You guys that do this are simply bad ass, I'm pissed I really wanted to go but just couldn't afford cf3 and then Virginia on 27th.

I hope to see/meet some of you there, as for CF4 I'm going to book a room the second I see a date.

It must have been cool as shit seeing all those challengers in one spot !

Mike that was really cool for you to help people with their cars, that alone makes me wish I was there, I'm going to attempt to take off front and take that light out, so I can unhook the Vortec air tube, and let that puppy breath, with out the light next time down track.

Even though I missed this, thanks again to all of you who help do this stuff for everyone!!!!!!

You summed the weekend up well, Mike. Everyone had a great time and the only reason that the PoPo showed up was to get some free ribs! Freaking bastards, when you need them they are never around, give up some free food and the come out of the wood wrok dont they???

Sorry I didnt stay in the parking lot for the after hours stuff, but after my last trip to NOLA, I swore I would never get drunk again, told Mary I am too old for that anymore. lol

Mike and Jay, you are the best there is! Between the two of you, you know these cars as well as the guys who designed and build them. What puts you two on top of those guys is, you are always willing to help other owners with their questions and problems. and you know how to throw one heck of a party! Now relax and enjoy the compliments from a job supurbly done!!!

Mike, Jay, it was the greatest event i have ever been to(thats a hard statement to make since i was at woodstock and the sturgis bike events many times) , and like someone posted here before it was about the people and friendship.

Parrot, you were already at cf3, maybe you can wait for CF4 :P .

Nothing I can add, but having been to a ton of events over the years with my other cars, this was probably one of if not the best. You guys put together one hell of a weekend.

I will be there next year for sure.

Hell yea, Speedy, Mike, Lisa, Greg, Phil, everyone that donated, the vendors, it was great.

So exciting how this event is really taking shape. Thought about it the whole way home, just kicked ass.

It feels like we are on the verge of an explosion for CF4. Can't wait to start planning and then do nothing like this time. :)

Just arrived back into Toronto after a twelve hour drive! Worth it? Hell yeah! This is THE annual event to attend. Congratulations to the CF3 organizers who delivered an awesome event. Looking forward to the video and pix of this memorable event. I will mark this on my calendar for years to come.

It was nice to meet the Big Dogs of the MMF. Lots of memories to reflect on.

See yawls next year!!!!

Challengerfest brings to life what we all already know about this forum: It's about the people! The takeaway message from this weekend was:

1) seeing 100 Challengers in one spot was the awesomest thing ever, but more importantly,

2) their owners talking, learning, laughing, and having a great time is what this event and ModernMoparForum.com is what it's REALLY all about.

Thank you everyone for letting me be a part of this wild and crazy club!

I was in awe at all the cars. Having so many in one spot was awesome. I didn't see two that were alike either. Everyone makes these their own and they become part of the family. Being able to walk around and gawk and talk was the best. I have many ideas about how to better my car already.

All you fucking assholes kick ass!!! :D

Next year we need a trophy for salesman of the year. I got koozies coming outta my....well you know.

Mike, you're the man. Making it happen and I seriously respect that. Problems present themselves and you just solve them head on. Kick ass bro. Hugh for President for real. I thought I was gonna break a rib laughing so hard at that.

For anyone I was short with Saturday morning at the track, I apologize. I was running on about 3 hours of sleep and stressed the hell out trying to get things running at the track. Next year I'll take a final swig on the mason jar before we get started to calm my nerves lol

Guys, seriously if we keep going like we are CF4 is gonna be insane. I can't wait to see what we come up with for that one. I've had like zero sleep in the past 4 days and I'm still amped up from this weekend. Thank you all for coming and making the event such a success.

Alan it was great to finally meet you and thanks for having the insight to start this place only wish I signed up sooner, sucks about your water problem if you need and help with preventing it from happening again let me know I have done lots of work in fixing wet basements.

Speedy you did an awesome job on and off the track congrats on your new PB. Your buddy with the giant white truck made my son smile then crap his pants after he let him sit in it then had him step on that loud ass train horn button he had. lol

Mike GSO was good to see you again and thanks for everything you did to make this happen.next time you run into Hugh tell him I said hey.

Thanks to Chuck, Lisa, CK all that donated to the BBQ and the goodie bags, thanks for the great stickers and coozies Dave. Thanks to all the vendors especially those who were there you have all my business from now on.

This is now a planned yearly trip for me no way I'm missing next year. I don't think there is one thing that could have made it better aside from more guys being able to make it. Next year we are going to need a lot more parking, I don't think anyone's going to want to miss out after the way this year was.

Again thanks to all that made it happen.
